RIHANNA has dished the dirt on her relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown — revealing the troubled singer was her first “big love”.

The Umbrella hitmaker — who was left battered and bruised after a fight with Brown in February this year — opened up to Diane Sawyer in an interview airing Thursday on Good Morning America and on 20/20 on Friday.

“This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone,” Rihanna, 21, said of her attack at the hands of Brown, adding that it was particularly difficult because of the special place Brown held in her heart. “He was definitely my first big love,” she said.

Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, 180 days of community labor and a year of domestic violence classes for assaulting Rihanna last February.

The interviews kick off her promotional tour of Rihann’s eagerly anticipated fourth album, Rated R, which will be released Nov. 23.
