TAYLOR Lautner hated wearing a wig while filming Twilight sequel New Moon — because it made him “real itchy”.

The actor — who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the smash hit vampire movie franchise — says he was pleased to shed his long locks for the movie because he found he was eating strands of his wig by mistake.

“I still have the wig for the first half of New Moon, then Jacob cuts his long hair off when he becomes the werewolf — which was a relief to me because that wig would get real itchy,” he says. “Also, the long hair would get in my mouth and stuff when I was trying to deliver my lines. Didn’t taste too good.”

Taylor, 17, recently revealed that he’s going to try his best to keep his shirt on in future — because he wants to be known for his acting, not his body.

“I worked hard to get in shape for this role,” she said. “My motivation was the movie and the fans but I don’t want to become known as just a body.

“If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie but I guess that’s not very realistic. I certainly won’t be asking to do it though.”
