Kate Hudson: ‘Quitting Smoking Caused Pregnancy Rumors’

KATE Hudson says quitting smoking caused her numerous problems in the media — because everyone thought she was pregnant!
The Bride Wars actress — who’s currently dating New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and already has a son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson — says giving up the cigarettes fueled rumors she was expecting her second child.
“Quitting meant eating more,” Hudson said. “Then, there were rum ours in the press saying I was pregnant.
“Later somebody said, ‘When did you quit smoking?’ And I was like, ‘Right about the time everybody thought I was pregnant.’”
It was recently reported that Hudson and Rodriguez came to blows after she took it upon herself to answer his phone.
“That’s just how Kate is, she’ll answer your phone, look in your refrigerator, or at your mail,” a source said.
“Also, she figures since they’ve been together for a whole now, it’s fine for her to see who’s calling him.
“But Alex countered that it’s often his ex-wife, Cynthia, on the line,and she doesn’t to have to deal with his new girlfriend.
“Kate was miffed, but she got over it. Sometimes, though, she wishes Alex didn’t have so much baggage.”
