Angelina Jolie in Salt — Trailer!

HERE’S Angelina Jolie starring as Evelyn Salt — a U.S. interrogator accused of being a Russian sleeper spy — in her new movie, Salt.

The flick — which also stars Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Daniel Olbrychski — hits movie theaters in July 2010.

Tom Cruise initially secured the lead but the script was rewritten for Jolie.

Salt Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura had previously revealed that changing the “he” to “she” in the script wasn’t as simple as it sounds.

“I had no idea how complex it would be,” he said in March this year.

“We had to rethink the whole notion of how a man vs. a woman operates in the business world, in personal relationship and in friendships.

“She’s a character you never know.

“People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not.

“You’re supposed to be kept guessing. She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”
