Lindsay Lohan Blasts ‘Deadbeat’ Dad

The actress took to her Twitter account — naturally — to lash out at Michael Lohan after he shared old phone chats between the two of them with the press.

“He’s a deadbeat dad. He’s disgusting to do this,” she wrote Thursday morning. “He needs help.”

Lohan says the phone-tape leak, “really hurts my mom for me and my siblings.”

Lohan, 23, then went on to recall the troubled home life and marriage between her father and mother Dina.

“She blames herself for staying w/him for so long,” she says. But Lindsay begged Dina not to leave, she says, because “he always threatened to kill her if she did.”

Her father, she adds, would often disappear for several days — “cheating on my mother” and “abusing substances.”

“I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven’t had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years . . . I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!” she concluded.

    Why is this crazy guy trying to redeem himself over the back of his 23 year old, and therefore ADULT daughter?
    He had his chance and he scrued up, so quit trying to mask it by playing the overconcerned parent, it's really disgusting how her parents use everybody including their own children to get attention for themselves.
    They should be ashamed of themselves and really get some therapy themselves.

    Well I find her father has changed alot since he came out of prison and seriously, Lindsay does need help before she ends up dead, I agree with her father, her mother isn't doing anything and even when Lindsay went to court a few weeks ago, she looked like she was definetly high on something, she needs help bad, it's sad too to see someone who used to be so talented now sinking lower than the lowest so I agree, it's time someone intervened and helped Lindsay get back to normal reality before she ends up dead.
