KATY Perry defied boyfriend Russell Brand by wearing a series of outrageously sexy costumes at last night’s MTV awards — because he doesn’t like it when she flashes the flesh!

The Hot ‘n Cold singer says the British comedian wants her to cover up as much as possible.

“If Russ had his way I think I’d be dressed as a lollipop lady, covered up head to toe in a giant mac,” Perry told UK newspaper the Daily Mirror.

“As far as he’s concerned the more clothing, the better. It’s pretty sweet.

“I’m not the kind of person to care if a boob pops out — I’ll just pop it back in and carry on,” she said. “I love the dress I’m wearing now, but it’s certainly not for running around in. I can just about kick out in it and that’s about it!”

Perry, 25, has previously revealed that she used to pray for big boobs when she was younger.

“I remember really vividly kneeling by my bed as a nine-year-old, saying my prayers and asking God to give me boobs that were so big that if I laid on my back, I wouldn’t be able to see my feet,” she said in August this year. “Eventually, that request was granted.

“A bit of divine intervention displays the power of prayer.

“Every time before I go on stage, or go out where I know there will be a lot of Press, I take a skipping rope and spend about 10 minutes, fully clothed, skipping. I look like Rocky.

“This way, I can ensure that everything is firmly in place and I won’t have a wardrobe malfunction.

“Don’t want those boulders doing a show of their own.”
