Nicholas broke?
With the money i am sure he demands for his movies etc. he must have blown quite a "wad" during his career.
I love Nichlas Cage , and have yet to see a bad movie from him. I am a huge fan!
With the millions he makes, he does need someone to mange all that money, i know i would even if i won the lottery. he just needs the right person he can trust and we all know those people are hard to find now days. Lets face it though Nicolas, it's time to buy smart ( skulls , shruggen heads and 50 cars ? who needs 50 cars and more then 1 island?
Ih his manger didnt stop him from such extravange spending or gave poor advice, he should be ashamed of himself and pay back what he "toook" from Nicolas. I must appalud Nicholas though for his charitable contributions, but let"s tone down the spending . I want to continue to see Nicolas in many more movies, he"s one of the best around !!

I think he should just keep the castle too and sell everything else. But who the heck would buy dinosaur skulls, shrunken heads and so forth? O.o Sheesh!
I find people should manage their money wisely even if you're a multi-millionaire especially now with the financial crisis affecting everyone and if it's your money, you should be the one controlling it, not some back stabbing thieves.

Wow! It happens to all of us. Anyway save the castle and turn it into a bread and breakfast. Sell the rest off. Get rid of the financial advisor, truly someone should not be telling you where to put your money. Investing is one thing, buying to avoid taxes or lesser taxes is another. Hope it works out.

When I read of people with extreme amounts of money who go over the top to self-indulge and flaunt their wealth, one word comes to mind – "Greed"!! Mr. Cage could certainly live a wonderful, boutiful life with one or mabe two homes and several cars. With the ridiculous amout of money he obviously spent on himself buying islands and houses he could not possibly use, he could have done some real good for humanity. He could have helped others, thus creating a totally different life, image and legacy. How sad for Mr. Cage…

Too bad for nicolas. I remember when he bought the castle. I thought , now why does anyone need a castle. It seemed a bit on the extravagant side. None the less, he gave a lot of money to charaties which is a good thing even if it is for a tax write off, still a good thing. I like him as an actor and as a human(No scandals as far as I know.) He is a big draw at the box office. A couple of movies and he will have all his money back. Nicolas, get a new manager!
