Elton John Sent Sarcastic Note to Robbie Williams

ELTON John sent Robbie Williams a sarcastic note when his former Take That bandmates reached number one in the singles and albums charts.
The Feel hitmaker, 35, says he was furious to receive the missive under his hotel room door while on tour in Australia.
According to British tabloid The People, Robbie says the note read, “Take That: No.1 album, No.1 single – funny how things work out, Elton.”
“What a bizarre way to think about things — you live in a world that I don’t live in,” Robbie said of Elton’s cheeky dig.
“For a while Robbie struggled to come to terms with the success Take That have been enjoying without him,” a source added.
“He’s made up with all of them now but he clearly didn’t enjoy having the mickey taken out of him by Elton.”
Meanwhile, Elton, 62, left hospital earlier this week after illness had forced him to cancel a series of concerts.
The Rocket Man hitmaker was recently hospitalized with “a serious case of E.coli bacterial infection and influenza”.
It is understood underwent a series of blood tests, X-rays and scans to find out why his illness proved so debilitating.
Elton’s spokesman Gary Farrow insists the singer is now “fine” and will resume his concert schedule in Oakland and San Jose, Calif., where he will join Billy Joel on Nov. 14 and 17.
