Taylor Lautner Not Opposed to Baring His Torso

TAYLOR Lautner insists he’s more than happy to keep showing off his torso — if a role requires him to do so.
The 17-year-old actor — who goes shirtless in several scenes for Twilight sequel New Moon — says he won’t be keeping his sexy six-pack under wraps.
“If there’s another character later on in life that requires [baring my torso], I’m not opposed to it,” he said.
Taylor also revealed how he gained 30lbs of muscle for his role as werewolf Jacob Black in the smash hit film franchise.
“I had to be putting something in my mouth every two hours,” he said. “Meat patties, sweet potatoes, raw almonds — it’s not fun. A lot of protein.”
Taylor has previously said he wants to be known for his acting, not his body.
“I worked hard to get in shape for this role,” he said. “My motivation was the movie and the fans but I don’t want to become known as just a body.
“If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie but I guess that’s not very realistic. I certainly won’t be asking to do it though.”
New Moon — which also stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart — hits movie theaters later this month.
