Lady GaGa: ‘I’ve Learned Lots About Myself’

LADY GaGa says she’s “discovered lots of things” about herself over the past year.
The Just Dance hitmaker says she’s had a phenomenal 12-months where’s she’s been inspired by her legions of fans.
“The past year, it’s been unbelievable,” she said. “It’s been a phenomenal, inspiring experience.
“I love my fans so much, and more than anything, I discovered lots of things about myself that I didn’t know before through my fans. Because I was giving them so much in my shows.
“I have a very raw performance style and [I'm] leaving my heart on the stage every night, and they were giving me so much back in return that when the show was over, I wanted to write. I wanted to make music.”
GaGa, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, recently insisted that her dad doesn’t tell her off for wearing skimpy outfits.
“I am such a Daddy’s Girl,” said the 23-year-old. “He loves seeing the performance side of me. My dad is a creative guy and he really appreciates the technical side of what I do.
“He calls me Loopy. And he says to me ‘Y’know Loopy you never sold out, you never changed who you were or are for anyone.’
“He loves it and appreciates that I am a strong woman with strong opinions. And I am so lucky to have such a supportive family.”
