KRISTEN Stewart says she looked up to Jodie Foster when she was growing up.

The actress admits she never thought the Twilight films would end up being such a huge hit that would propel her to superstardom — so has taken a leaf out of the Panic Room actress’ book for when it comes to dealing with fame.

“It wasn’t until the last couple of weeks filming Twilight that I became aware of what a phenomenon the books were,” said Kristen, who plays Bella in the smash hit vampire movie franchise. “I thought we were making a movie that would be, at best, a cult film and would only be seen by this small group of people.

“If I had known about the number of people who are so passionate about Bella, I don’t know how it would have affected my performance.

“That is something I am still dealing with. Growing up, there were women I looked up to like Jodie Foster. I know people are watching to see what I’ll do now.”

Kristen, 19, recently revealed she thinks her Twi costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner would make good husbands.

“I’m sure they would both be great husbands,” she said. “Taylor is like one of the most steady, sure [people] — he’s great, really just a good guy.

“And then if you’re into Rob, he’s really a more, sort of analytical, thoughtful, like wishy-washy intellectual, so it depends.”
