Britney Spears Asks Parent’s Approval to Marry Beau
BRITNEY Spears has told her parents she wants to marry her latest boyfriend: her agent, Jason Trawick.
The singer — who has been married twice before and has two young sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline — apparently spoke to her mother Lynne and father Jamie about tying the knot before she jetted off to Mexico in October with Jason and the boys.
“Britney told Jamie and Lynne she wants to marry Jason,” a source told America’s Life & Style magazine.
“Her parents weren’t shocked. They’re worried Britney is confusing close friendship with romance.”
ShowbizSpy reported last month how Britney, 27, was keen to make her relationship with Jason official.
“Britney and Jason have really hit it off,” a source said at the time. “Britney is saying how this is the first ‘proper’ relationship she has ever had. They actually talk about real stuff and he’s genuinely interested in what she has to say.
“He’s so sharp and intelligent and Britney feels their relationship is so much deeper than any one she has had before. She really feels like Jason is the kind of man who might tempt her to marry again.”
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Spears was left shocked after hearing news Federline had gotten his girlfriend pregnant.
“Britney never wanted Kevin to have another child unless it was with her,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“She desperately wants to have a baby girl, and she had hoped Kevin would be the dad.”
