Amy Winehouse’s Dad Blasts Singer’s Ex-Husband
AMY Winehouse’s doting dad Mitch is worried his troubled daughter might rekindle her romance with her junkie ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The Winehouse patriarch said that a reunion between Amy and Blake would take place “over my dead body” and branded his former son-in-law a “vampire”.
“They’re after everything. Money, fame – they’re vampires,” Mitch said, amid reports Amy and Blake had swapped love notes on Facebook.
Mitch, 58, recently revealed how Amy has become obsessed with exercise.
“Everything at the moment is under control,” he said. “Sometimes — and I’m not talking about Amy — but sometimes other addictions come after another addiction.
“One of Amy’s positive addictions is she’s got her own gym. She’s in the gym three or four hours a day. I mean boy is she fit – really, really fit. So that’s a really positive addiction.
“But addictions can come in groups. It can be buying stuff, buying stuff that’s not necessary. She’s been through that as well. The whole process is one of recovery.”
