Adam Lambert: ‘I’m Just Being Myself’
ADAM Lambert’s unique look might be considered “androgynous” — but the star insists he’s just being himself.
The American Idol runner-up — whose debut album, For Your Entertainment, hits stores later this month — says he loves his “little rocker outfits”.
“Even on Idol, I wear my eyeliner and my black clothes, my little rocker outfits,” said the stylish star. “That’s just how I’ve always dressed over the past couple of years. You can label it however you want — androgynous, glam, emo, Goth. We can put a bunch of different labels on it but I’m just being myself.”
“I like to pretty it up like all the good rock stars do. Mick Jagger and David Bowie did it and I’m like trying to do it now,” Adam joked.
Lambert recently revealed that he’s flattered to have a die-hard female fan base.
The female following is really flattering, with underwear flying up on stag,” he quipped. “I never really expected that to happen but I’m enjoying it. It’s very flattering and I like the attention.”

I think Adam's style is so unique because he so freely admits to wanting to be "pretty". He is as beautiful to look at as he is to listen to. He has so many options before him, I think many designers and merchants would love to have him model and represent their clothing, accessories, etc.
Agree with you Lisa. Some of the things I love best about Adam are his openess, his honesty and knowing who he is and what his values are… that's in addition to his gorgeous voice, handsome face and great physique! He would make any clothing style look fabulous! But, I love him no matter what he has on.
Well, Adam could just roll out of bed, put on a pair of pyjamas and sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and I would scream for excitement. Yes, that's how much I love this guy! His voice, charisma and good looks are beyond description.
Yes he is gorgeous inside and out and it just shows. This is a brilliantly talent man who just oozes creativity and such a sexy vibe.
All I know is I've not been this crazy about any celebrity and not even a regular AI watcher. But there's something about ADAM, the totality of his beauty and awesomeness, inside and out. With all his incredible gorgeousness and phenomenal talent, he is very much a humble gracious decent genuine human being. Proud to be a fan.
