Celine Dion Suffers Miscarriage
CELINE Dion is no longer pregnant.
Speaking to Canadian newspaper Journal de Montreal, the singer’s husband Rene Angelil said the latest in vitro fertilization treatment she underwent last month was unsuccessful.
“We’re living the reality of the majority of couples who face these procreation techniques,” he said.
Celine — who was due to give birth in May — confirmed this past August that she was expecting.
Angélil — whose battle with cancer had raised doubts that the couple could conceive again — has three other children from two previous marriages.
“You know, I’m not really a singer,” Dion told People magazine in 2007. “My life is to be a mom. It is what I enjoy the most. I will take a chance with my music. I don’t take risks with my family.”

I am sadden by this news. I was concerned when she announced the fact of her preg immediately after conception. I pray her family gives her strength.
I absolutely adore Celine and have a great amount of respect for her. Nonetheless. the guy is 67 and money won't buy you time. I can not believe that people are so selfish and attempt to have children at such an age. Children need their fathers to be around (whatever the circumstance) and I find it absurd and absolutely self-serving to attempt fatherhood at such an age. He might be a wonderful man and father but what good will he be when he is gone. I understand that any child's father might pass but the likely hood of a 67 year old versus even a 37 dying are greater. I wish people would consider the children more than themselves in these incidences.
