Dancing With the Stars’ Aaron Carter: ‘I Was so Emotional’
AARON Carter says he doesn’t know why he got so emotional during his stint on Dancing With the Stars.
The former singer — who was eliminated Tuesday from the ABC ballroom series — cried early in the competition after harsh remarks from the judges. During yesterday’s show, a package aired showing all of his emotional moments.
“It is what it is!” Carter, 21, told Us Weekly after the show. “It was funny! It was entertaining. It was a good results show tonight.”
“There were definitely some performances where I knew it was pretty cool,” he added. “I will look back at them I think and be proud.”
He also grew close to partner Karina Smirnoff.
“We fight like an old married couple!” she said.
Before Carter left the show, head judge Len Goodman praised the young star for his dedication, telling him: “If you were my son, I would be so proud of you.”
Asked about the compliment, Carter said, “I was shocked. I had no idea how much this meant to me. I had no idea how much I really learned. What he said really meant the world to me.”
Kelly Osbourne, who was in the bottom with Carter but advanced to the semi-finals, grabbed Carter afterward and told him he should be proud of what he accomplished on the show.
“To come back week after week after week, after the things people said about him and kick butt the way that he did, he’s turned into man and he should go away believing that,” she said about Carter. “And he made me promise that we would always be friends and I said yes!”

I think that the people got it wrong when they voted Aaron off last night, because he improved biggg time!!! And, I think he could have won this whole thing, I just don't know what they were thinking even to have him on the bottom 2. Aaron, you can leave with your head held high because baby Lynn was right you parents should be proud of you, Im a parent and I am sure proud of you.
I didn't vote, but Aaron Carter CAN DANCE! He's way better than Donny and Kellie. He wasn't going to win, but he should have come closer. Old people voted for Donny and Kellie, not because they could dance. Because they remember Donny as an entertainer and they like Kellie's dad. None of the three are gong to win, but AARON, you can dance!
Aaron could have won this whole thing. Mya, his only competitor did not show any passion in her dances, tech wise, she was all right.
