Michael Jackson’s Dad to File Creditor’s Claim Against Estate

MICHAEL Jackson‘s father Joe is planning to file a creditor’s claim against the star’s estate, according to reports.
The 80-year-old — who was omitted from his son’s will — claims Michael — who died June 25 — made a promise to “always support” his dad and if the estate reneges on that promise he will take it to court.
Attorney Brian Oxman told TMZ Wednesday that Michael had repeatedly given Joe, Katherine, and other members of the family assurance that he would make sure they’re always financially sound.
Oxman says Jackson (in effect) made a contract on which the family relied. He reiterated — he’s considering filing a creditor’s claim if Joe is cut off financially.
On Tuesday, Joe accused the administrators of Michael’s will of fraud.
But in a court hearing, Judge Beckloff ruled that Joe did not have legal standing to contest the administrators of Michael’s estate and cleared the way for John Branca and John McClain to be officially appointed executors of the Jackson fortune.
