ROBERT Pattinson says dealing with hundreds of screaming fans is like being in a war zone.

The hunky Twilight star admits he finds it quite “exciting” to be in the middle of a group of lusty ladies.

“If it’s just screaming — and I know this sounds so ridiculous — that gets old,” the 23-year-old the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar. “But sometimes where there’s literal chaos, it’s like being in a war zone, and that’s kind of exciting.

“You’re just running through the crowd of people chasing after you and no one knows what going on.”

Pattinson, 23, recently said that being an actor is just like being a doctor.

“I’ve been working so much this year that it’s almost like living in an alternate reality,” he said. “You’re doing doctor hours.

“Every doctor I’ve ever spoken to says the same thing, that you have no idea what’s going on other than working. You’re away from your family and friends, and all that stuff.”
