JANET Jackson will be a married woman this time next year if the latest reports are to be believed.
According to America’s OK! magazine, the Whoops Now hitmaker is planning to wed longtime lover Jermaine Dupri in 2010.
“They hope to walk down the aisle after the first of the year,” a source told the publication.
The Jacksons, added the source, “are keeping their fingers crossed that Jermaine will be an official part of the family.”
The pair — who have dated for almost eight years — were rumored to have split in July this year following the death of Janet’s brother, pop superstar Michael Jackson.
But a source recently insisted, “They never really broke up. Jermaine wanted to give her some space when Michael died.”
