Heather Locklear ‘Behaving Like a Prima Donna on Melrose Place Set’
HEATHER Locklear has been acting like a first-class prima donna on the set of Melrose Place, it has been claimed.
The actress — who is reprising her role as ad agency diva Amanda Woodward on the CW network series — is apparently feeling the pressure to raise the show’s floundering ratings, and is making life hell for the cast and crew in the process.
“Heather’s creating a lot of drama with her diva antics,” one insider told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “It’s making our lives miserable.”
“She’s insecure and on edge. The responsibility is weighing heavily on her,” added a friend of the star.
The insider then went on to reveal that Heather couldn’t stand to be in the presence of newly-departed cast member Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
“The friction between them was so bad that Heather demanded that the production assistants make sure she and Ashlee never were on set at the same time when they weren’t shooting scenes together,” dished the loose-lipped source.
“On one of the coldest days in L.A., Heather made the cast and tons of extras wait outside to film,” added the source.
