Kristen first met Robert's parents last May in Vancouver on Rob's 23rd birthday – his parents flew in for the occasion and there were pictures to prove it. I hope it is true that they met for the 2nd time in Paris.

From the way he sounded i got the impression that he was the kind who easily got bored of girls and moved to the next one. He tried to imply that monogomy was not his thing…..

There is something missing in this story !!!After having done the promotional duties in Paris Rob went straight to London, he probably saw his parents there at least at the premiere. They were invited to La premiere as well. Why would he invite them to Paris in the first place ? The next day he was supposed to be in London. Even if he did , they had to be on the same flight to London on their way back. We saw the photos ( where they were sort of holding hands) and they were absent. I don't buy it. Plus who would leak these rumors? His publicists or manager ? No way! Then the waitresses at the restaurant? They wouldn't even recognize his parents.I don't think that the French follow the Robsten story as we do and saw Rob's parents photos. No one would recognize his parents there.Unless he called the rest. himself and made reservations for his family which i don't think that is the case here.I mean why would he bother to introduce Kristen to his parents even though they met in Vancouver last year and were headed to London and LA premieres to see her ?

I wouldn't doubt Robert's manager is pulling this off because he looks like a creep and if you look closely to those pics of them "holding hands" in Paris (they weren't holding hands really) you can see both managers, Rob and Kristen's, looking straight at the camera, like they wanted to be sure Robsten was being photographed. I'm convinced more than ever that Robsten is just a publicity stunt.

Kristen has already met Rob's parents last year in May at Rob's 23rd birthday dinner in Vancouver. There are pics of her sitting between his parents in a cab when the four of them left together after the dinner. Plus they were only in Paris one day and they were working and had no time for social events not work related. I would also suggest to the poster on this board "I'm Not Dumb" to look at ALL the pics taken that evening because they were tightly holding hands when they first started walking out to the plane. Then Rob's manager, Nick Frenkel saw the paps and told Rob and Kristen and they stopped. They're a couple and I feel sorry for the people still in denial about it.

I think that if rob and kristen are really n love then they should do watever the hell they want to. and if they do decide to hav kids i think they will hav cute little robstens.

Lolli- as I have said above- I have made no such comment to any reporter. They found my name on a data base unaccessible to us plebs and have added it to any tittle tattle they choose to make up to gain interewst in the so-called ‘Robsten’ thing!!
As another commentator, Siena, says- it would have been impossible to have had a ‘meet the parents’ dinner, in the time they were there!Absolutely right. Just think these stories through, girls,as Siena did, before you fall for them hook line and sinker and before criticising me!

I saw the pictures and people, come on! Holding hands? Two people who love each other very much don’t hold hands like that. Yes, you would do that with your ‘it’s-two-days-on’ boyfriend but not with someone you’ve been madly in love with for months.

Yes- particularly question the New York taxi story!! How could it have been, for there to have been so many fans and paps around Rob, not one had a camera to record the event??Every move he makes is caught on film, but not that one. Suspicious, eh?
Just remember- papers will print anything to generate sales and the promotional machine is in top gear for ‘New Moon’- so any ‘news’ is good news!
My other sister and I are still doorstepped by disreputable magazine reporters, to whom we do not speak- but who make up stories anyway!I get a phone call at least once a week from a keen reporter desparate for an exclusive, from the US, Australia, India, China–all over Europe and the world. They have all found my phone number and address and those of other members of my family. They plague them too for stories.They are ruthless in their quest!One such reorter knocked on my door while I was out and my son had great difficulty stopping him from entering our house!He had to force the door shut on him. Mind you- my son is 6’7″ so he’d have won anyway!

It’s amazing to me the things people will do to make money. I feel for Rob and Kristen. They are so younge and have so much to look forward to if the world-wide-web would just allow it! I am not a younge teeny-bop wanting to dream after Rob either! I’m old enough to be his mom! But I do like Twillight, and he and the rest of the actors brought so much to that movie. The one thing I have been searching is Rob’s music. It is so unique and I really like listening to it but can’t find a whole lot. I sometimes have a hard time believing that it is him, he sounds so mature. He has an old soul and it’s in his music. I read that if he were to release a cd he wouldn’t use his name, well I wouldn’t know how to find it if he didn’t use his name! So Diana if I could impose on you, would you pass on to him that the older crowd who don’t have alot of free time to search the web would greatly appreciate it if he would just use his name! Haha, sorry to ask, or if you could email me when he does release a cd under a different name that would work too! Oh and tell him if he wants to buy a house he should move to Akron, Ohio….doubt very many people would expect a movie star to come here looking to buy a house!Anyway thanks for listening and if anyone out there has any info on where I might find more music by young Pattinson I would be most appreciative.

Diana, I couldn’t imagine being in your place. I like my privacy and to have someone, anyone, trying to invade it without welcome would be most irritating to say the least. He’s lucky to have family like you to tolerate such idiotic and demeaning behavor from people.

Distance in photos can be foreshortened to make people look as though they are near each other, when in fact they are yards apart!Just realise the tricks that are used, Lolli.
Many years ago I watched Princess Diana, after the boys’ school sports day, at our local sports ground. She was leaving the venue and signalled to William to get into the car. I was standing about 20 yds away and saw clearly, that her arm was at least 3 feet away from William. That photo, that this lobe reporter took, went all over the world, entitled..’Princess Diana smacks William’.It engendered a huge debate on smacking children, that followed for weeks, in the press. It was based on an untrue representationof the event. Her arm was no-where near William and anyway- she was guiding him in to the car, as one does, by extending her arm.I was the only member of the public who witnessed this, as only I and the reporter were standing by the exit of the sportsground.I was looking sideways on, to her and the car and could clearly see the distance between her arm and William!
Since that day- I have never ‘believed’ what photos p[ortray!

Exactly… Photos and videos can be easily altered especially if they are going to make lots of money… As in Robert’s ( especially those hand holding photos taken by an only one photographer in Paris, only one !!)case. I really admire how he handles the hype and all the craziness around him.It’s certain that he was very well educated both at school and at home.We have seen his family on Ellen, they seem very decent people, would any of them leak rumors about their beloved? Not likely.They are not Lindsay Lohan’s parents!!!

For the first time ever all this fame &fortune happened to a humble,funny,witty,modest and honest guy.He is way too open, and too honest for this crazy environment,that’s why Summit is trying to monitor his comments ,keep his mouth shut when he is asked personal questions,so that he doesn’t start talking from the bottom of his heart.. I hope he is happy now and stays that way, again it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. He is a true example of ”good things happen to good people” motto.He is my favorite celebrity ever, and is the actual reason why the movies are such a success.His family should be really proud of him not only because of his acting skills but also for his dignity,handle on things,and modesty.In addition to all of that he is a 23 year old intellectual who reads Emile Zola ,watches Truffaut movies.It’s very impressing.If you want to know about Robert,it’s easy, watch him speak,he is that outspoken.A guy that sincere would either go out with someone outside of the industry.I mean he and Kristen are way too different from each other.They are the polar ends of the same Twilight bubble.Once he gets out it he will realize it better i think.

Hear,hear,Pam.Exactly my thoughts, too. I think Rob is a credit to his family in the way he is conducting himself.He remains polite ,yet amusing at all times. The fact that he has had to deal with such unsurpassed, overwhelming publicity madness, for one so young, in the calm way he has, makes us all very proud of him.He has remained exactly the same throughout this meteoric, career success, seemingly,untouched, (although mightily surprised!),by his popularity.I just hope he doesn’t believe, nor, even read the untruths published by some reporters.

I was just reading the comments left for ”Robert&Kristen drifting apart”, and i am really irritated by the fan reaction in there. There were a few people who critisized Kristen for her fowl mouth and arrogance towards her fans and critized her acting sytle with proper reason and explanation.The fans are now basically bombarding the page with their arrogant and insulting comments,they call these girls names and they verbally harass and threaten them non stop. All these girls said was that Kristen was not a good role model for children as she smoked pot and swore in public.Some were concerned for their own children as they were the fans of the books and saw Kristen as a role model. They basically critisized her for calling the fans ”retarded ”, and defended the fans.And now you should read and see and how insulting and arrogant the commments are for those who literally defended the fans… I am literally irritated and shocked.. How can these people get so arrogant and obsessive? They haven’t even read the initial comments througly i am sure…Unbelievable…

I feel sad for these ‘fans’, Catherine–that they can be so obsessive and write such venom about people they have never met, nor are ever likely to.It is so sad that they can be sucked in to the publicity machine- as it grinds on- promoting everything ‘Stephanie Meyer’!They feel that they ‘own’ the actors and have some sort of entitlement to comment on their every move. Diana, the gossip site i am talking about is Lainey Gossip ( Laineygossip.com-it is more legit than Perez’ site i’d say).Lainey is the lady who runs the site,and you can just click on a random article about Rob or Twilight and at the bottom of the each page she posts a letter she has received from an anonymous Twi-fan…( she gets hundreds of them each day).Also i’ve read the article here in showbiz spy about ”Robert&Kristen are drifting apart”,there are dozens of comments full of hate posted at the bottom of the page ( in response to the two-three girls who critisized Kristen for her ”impolite ”manners, and ”poor” acting style-they are basically critising her rationally).The Twi-fan comments both in showbiz article and in Lainey Gossip are similar. This thread is a bit old for them to read i guess.Plus, no one is critisizing Robert or Kristen ,so we are on the safe side i think:)I really want to fast forward the time and see what will happen when the last saga movie wraps up/gets released and the actors start working on different projects… I truly hope the hype dies down and Rob is able to walk the streets on his own again.Otherwise,i cannot imagine how his life would be. I heard that he is pretty much booked up for the next two years, so if i were in his shoes i’d try to take a good break from all of this ( when is done),and go to ummm to a deserted island in the Pasific and hypernate on a sandy beach underneath palm tree …:) And settle down somewhere in Europe as a permanent resident.If these girls keep on chasing Rob after for another two years,by the time he quits acting they would either be in a state penitentiary for stalking/ harassment or in a mental institute especially founded ( and specialized in Twilight disorder) for Twi- fans.They always want the things in books’ order,Rob&Kristen are together,getting married,having kids,living happily ever after… They cannot simply differenciate fiction from reality…They don’t realize but deep down they don’t get that Robert is not Edward.So he doesn’t necessarily need to be smitten by Kristen. ”Maybe in real life they are not dating” is so hard for them to comprehend.It’s so sad,because that is not freedom ,that is brain imprisonment and just wishful thinking.I also blame Summit and the media outlets for using the hype as a money machine,and trying push these two in a relationship.
