Kelly Osbourne Fears She’ll Return to Drink and Drugs

Kelly OsbourneKELLY Osbourne is worried she will turn to drink and drugs when her stint on Dancing with the Stars comes to an end.

The 25-year-old — who is in the final of the smash hit ballroom series — admits she fears she’ll go back to her old ways of substance abuse when she has more time on her hands but is doing her best to avoid repeating her self-destructive habits.

“When I’m busy and not left with me in my own head I’m fine,” she said.

“I worry about when the show stops — slipping back into negativity, drink and drugs. I’m taking precautions so I won’t get in that position. My life when I drink is so dark and miserable.”

Kelly also revealed that she has postponed her wedding to her 19-year-old fiance Luke Worrall until he is old enough to drink in America, where the legal age is 21.

“Luke and I are engaged and we’ll get married when I want to,” she said. “But he isn’t even 21 yet, so he can’t drink in America so what’s the point in getting married until he can?”

Luke turns 21 in December 2011.

Kelly recently revealed that she needs surgery on her feet.

“I have flat feet and somewhere in the 25 years of my life, I tore the cartilage in my bunions in both feet,” she said.

“They asked me to have surgery. I said no, I didn’t want to have it because I believe if you start cutting things, you have a whole new set of problems and it wasn’t that bad.

“Basically, my doctor said, ‘Told you so, told you so. You wouldn’t be feeling this if you’d had the surgery.’ So I’m going to have to have it after the show.”

    Oh my Kelly. There are a lot of ways to keep busy out there. Go to college, get a job, do volenteer work, etc. etc. I am a former counselor that dealt with substance abusers and found this to be commen and it was my job to find something to keep the abuser busy. Also if you are not drinking why would you make a statement that you are waiting to get married till your boyfriend is old enough to drink. Sorry but your B.S. does not compute.

    Yeah, that's great. She has a drinking problem, but wants to wait to get married until her future husband can, wait for it, drink! Looks like a match made in heaven. Glad to see she's got her priorities straight.

    Kelly I so agree you can be strong, look how far you made it on dancing with the stars you were awesome, you can do anything if you set your mind to it and I believe in you that much.     She is not a good dancer and should not be in the finals. The only reason she is there is because of her popularity through her parents. 2 other couples she bumped should be there instead of her.
    Her name got her to the finals. She is just a little spoiled brat and did I mention she is not a dancer!

    Kelly, I have followed DWTS and always knew from day 1 you would be right there at the end. I am a mother of a Kelly as well something so strong @ the name. Don't fall flat on you face, you need to give yourself the credit you are due. What a wonderful young LADY you have become, don't sell yourself short w/ a guy who is going NOWHERE. Stay CLEAN and SOBER and you shall go far. You will see, and look at your MUM and DAD they are over the moon proud of you, as well they should be. Good Luck!
