Aerosmith Star Tyler Back on Drugs?

Posted by Adam

Steven TylerSTEVEN Tyler’s bandmates fear he is taking drugs again.

The future of Aerosmith has been thrown into doubt after the singer said he wanted to take a year off to pursue a solo career, but the frontman’s bandmates are “suspicious” of his current behaviour.

“I suspect there’s a lot more going on than we know about,” said guitarist Brad Whitford. “He has a well-documented history of drug abuse, and I find myself very suspicious.

“I haven’t seen him do this or have any personal knowledge, but the isolation is very typical of addictive behavior, and his – what I call — irrational behavior.”

Drummer Joey Kramer also urged 61-year-old Steven — whose daughter is Hollywood actress Liv Tyler – to seek help and “get healthy”.

“Steven has made some poor choices as of late,” Joe said, “and he’s got some bad influences around him, and I think that for the most part he’s his own worst enemy. I just really hope that Steven puts the focus on Steven and gets healthy.”

A spokesperson for the Crazy singer — who gave up heroin after completing a stint in rehab in 1986 — is not commenting on the drug claims and insists Steven is busy writing a book.

It would be quite a shock wouldn't it? Though I was thinking randomly the other day that had he been given a powerful anaesthetic after his stage fall a couple of months ago, would there be a risk of relapse?

As in when they wrote their own stuff, instead of the "songwriter machine" writing them!

"album" is still correct. It is a collection of songs, photos etc. Vinyl LP Record was the format of old. "CD" is the format of today. MP3 is the convenient format but still sucks in audio quality! I'd almost rather dare I say… a cassette tape!

I can tell you from what I saw last night at Chicago's House of Blues, Joe Perry definitely has many more years left of rock n roll in him!! My only hope is that Steven loses that sidekick, Bozo the clown, Mark Hudson, who's the sleeziest person on the planet and I believe the reason for Steven's separation from his band brothers! May he find his way back to those who truly care about him and love him and get back on track. I'm a long time Aerosmith fan and I would hate to Steven throw everything away he's worked so hard for over the years. Or worse, be a tragic story of an early death, leaving his four kids behind, especially Mia Tyler who's already lost her mother to cancer in 2002.

I saw an interview with Steven and his tour manager when they played the show a few weeks ago in Abu Dahbi and WOOOWWW, he was acting so incredibly irratic, shouting at people, telling them to shut up then jumping right into singing a song and drumming on the table in front of him to keep rhythm. ST has always been a wild man, that's what makes him such a great frontman, but this was VERY clearly irratic and I definitely thought to myself, more than once, he has got to be on something.

Okay, I'm going to put myself out there for the first time in my life. I'm what people call a sensitive and I feel that Steven is a path to find his authentic self and when that happens many things in our lives change. We move on from old friends to new ones and old ways to new ways. Give him time it will all come together just like it's supposed.
