Selena GomezSELENA Gomez doesn’t like Twilight!

Speaking to Bonnie Hunt on a pre-taped interview for her talk show Wednesday, the Wizards of Waverly Place star, 17, admits she isn’t a fan of the smash hit vampire movie franchise.

“I don’t watch them,” she said. “Sorry, I feel bad … even though I am a teenager.”

When Hunt asked if she was on Team Edward or Team Jacob, Gomez opted to root for her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner‘s werewolf character over Robert Pattinson.

Earlier this week, Gomez’s fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus dissed on Twilight.

“I’ve never seen it nor will I ever,” said the Hannah Montana star. “I don’t believe in it. I don’t like vampires, I don’t like the wolf that pops out on the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts. I don’t like any of it.

“I feel like seriously, people get really into it, people always fall in love with the characters. I don’t know. I’m not into it. I feel really lame because everyone’s so excited.”

    First of all:
    1. I love vampires
    2. I have read the Twilight series and seen the 1st movie
    3. I don’t hate the actors, I’m not a “passionate Twilight hater”, yes, I do think Robert Pattinson is alright looking and that Kristen Stewart is gorgeous and she was really good in ‘Panic Room’

    Despite all this I do not like Twilight. It is badly written and it makes me laugh. But I do not go declaring this on the streets, but if someone asks me if I like Twilight, I will answer honestly, and so did Miley and Selena! No, I’m not into Disney “stars” but people dissing them JUST because they told their own oppinion when asked, doesn’t make them “stupid b1tch3sssh!!!11″.

    Should they lie and say that they do like Twiligh just because it would upset some of their fans? Wouldn’t they be REALLY fake and fame obsessed then?!

      @janet-Are you saying the movies were badly written or the books.If its the movies,the first one was okay but New Moon was not as good as the fist movie.If the movie was exactly like the book all the movies would be over 3 hours long.I couldn’t see a tween sitting in the movies in one chair for three hours or more.Could you?The books were excellent written.

Hell if thats the truth, thank god you only see them on tv, becasue if you new them in person, youd find out you dont like alot of stuff they like and vice versa, and never like um.
