Christian Bale’s Batman ‘Hangs in The Balance’
CHRISTIAN Bale will only make another Batman movie if his pal Chris Nolan directs it, it has been claimed.
According to reports, the British actor is poised to make a third Batman movie — but has told film bosses that without Nolan — who directed 2008’s Dark Knight – he won’t be putting on his cape and cowl again.
“A new Batman movie is set to go into production in 2010 but Chris is not on board yet,” reveals a Hollywood insider.
“Christian is due to return as the lead but he has made a point of saying without Chris they have no movie.
“Christian sees him as vital in projecting Batman in a way that’s something more than your average comic book movie. Christian may not even be Batman without Chris.”

Wow this is a load of crap. Check your sources a little bit more. Bale has said in every interview when asked about the 3rd Batman that he has to do it even if Nolan doesn’t. He'd like Nolan to come back and do the 3rd movie (so would everyone) but Bale is under contract for 3 movies and as much a people want to vilify him he's always be true to word and the agreements he enters into.
I think Bale makes a much better Batman and Bruce Wayne than Val Kilmer or G Clooney could ever be. Just for the record =]
I’m sure every Batman fan– and every superhero fan, is grateful that Chris Nolan decided to produce movies that gave respect back to Batman– those last few movies were horrible and killed him.
