Mariah Carey ‘Spent $1.5m on London Trip’
MARIAH Carey spent a whopping $1.5million during her recent trip to London.
According to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, the pop superstar splashed out $400,000 for bedrooms on the entire top floor of The Dorchester hotel, $24,000 to hire a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley, thousands of dollars on first-class flights and thousands more for her bash at Jalouse nightclub in Mayfair on Thursday to promote her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel.
Guests drank $2,400-a-bottle champagne while watching her music videos on a big screen.
“Mariah wanted a VIP area complete with white flowers, cupcakes, a white carpet and an $170,000 diamond-encrusted ice bucket,” a source said.
“There was $500,000 worth of Angel champagne on the tables.”
