Adam Lambert at the AMAs!
WHEN it comes to red carpet events, Adam Lambert never fails to impress!
The American Idol runner-up — whose debut album, For Your Entertainment, hits record stores TODAY! — looked nothing short of dapper as he made his way into the American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles Sunday night.
While inside, Lambert gave a racy performance (video below) of his new single For Your Entertainment.
During Adam’s performance, the openly gay star kissed one of his male dancers — a move, which Adam insists, was unplanned.
Lambert told CNN the smooch happened “in the moment,” and that it is “a form of discrimination and a double standard” for anyone to object since “women performers have been pushing the envelope” for decades.
Lambert, 27, had previously insisted his performance at the AMAs would be kinky.
“I can’t wait to see people I look up to as artists in the audience watching,” he said Friday.
“I think that will be a trip, and exciting and motivating all at the same time.
“It will be really interesting to see what kind of reaction the number gets. It’s different. It really does have an edge to it.”

Adam has balls of steel. If he hadn't been over the top people would critcize him for all the hype and not delivering. I thought the performance was good. After watching women strut their sexuality all night, I thought Adam's showing a little male sexuality was right in line with the AMAs. Anyone who is concerned for kids should know by now not to let their kids watch the AMAs. It has been that way for years. It isn't for young kids. Aside from that I noticed Adam vocals got thrown off after about 1 minute into the show the sound cut out. There were several performers who didn't sound up to par. What the heck – it was still good! His album is fantastic and very spectacular vocals on it.
