Jennifer Lopez’s AMA Performance — Video!

Jennifer Lopez took a tumble while performing her new single, Louboutins, at the 2009 American Music Awards at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater Sunday night.
Lopez’s performance started off well, but it all went wrong after she climbed onto a human pyramid of half-naked male dancers and jumped down, slipping backwards onto her famous derriere. But she managed to resume her routine without any complaints — like a true professional!

The Jenny From The Block hitmaker — who gave birth to twins Max and Emme, her first kids with husband Marc Anthony, in Feb. last year — had previously revealed that she was nervous about taking to the stage for the AMAs.
“Dancing again, singing, the lights and the costumes — it all feels like second nature,” said Lopez of her first live TV performance in quite some time.
“You know what you’re doing and you feel very good about it, but at the same time, you wouldn’t be human if you’re not afraid,” she added.

IMAO at comment above. it is so tacky, the way she presents herself, she is so stuck in that immigrant notion that you have to have a lot of gold, money and looks in order to have "made" it.
She seems so empy and shallow to me. It like she did forget all about her roots and Jenny from the Block is just gone forever. Shame…..

whats hilarious and taky is that you don’t have anything else to do besides clown people. she is 40 y/o, has had twins and looks better than most 20 y/o performers. she did a shoe change in the middle of the performance, never seen that before. She looked gorgeous as usual. yeah, she likes gold and shiny things-oh well. it’s a perfomance. the song is about louboutins if you even know what those are. the second she fell, she popped right back up, not missing a beat. quit hating just b/c you will never accomplish anything in life to the extent that she has.
