Kris Allen Doesn’t Have Any Furniture
KRIS Allen has been spending his nights sleeping on a blowup……… mattress!
The American Idol winner and his wife Katy recently moved into a new home in Los Angeles — and they haven’t had the chance to buy any furniture.
“We don’t have any furniture in the house yet, but we are trying to find it,” Allen told People magazine at the American Music Awards on Sunday.
“We don’t have time. So that’s why we are sleeping on a blowup mattress right now.”
Allen, 24, recently told the USA Today newspaper that people often don’t realize he won Idol.
“Some people still don’t know how I won the show,” he complained.
“Not in an I-need-to-prove-myself way. I’m very understated. It worked out on the show, and I think it’s going to work out in my career, too.”
