THE teens are taking over!

Camp Rock star Demi Lovtao, 17, hit the red carpet for the American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles Sunday night.

Demi recently shot down claims she’s dating Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.

Previous reports had claimed the duo — who star together in new movie Camp Rock – were dating after they were seen on a double date at a Toronto restaurant with Joe’s brother Kevin and his fiancée Danielle Deleasa.

“They’re more than just friends,” a source said at the time.

But Demi insisted she and Joe are just pals.

“There’s been a lot of rumors lately that I’m dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not,” Lovato wrote on her Twitter page.

“We’ve NEVER dated. He’s incredible, but we don’t have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn’t lie about that.

“It’s unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive.

“But that’s how this whole city works I guess. It just makes me sad that people are that mean in this world.”
