Shakira Wants Two Babies
SINGER Shakira is desperate to become a mom!
The Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker — who has been with beau Antonio de la Rúa for almost ten years — says she and her man are ready to have children.
“I’m dying to have a baby. We both are,” Shakira said. “I’d like two and Antonio would like three. So probably after my next album, which comes out next year.
“I don’t think it could be sooner because in 2010 I’ll be touring as well. In fact, my biological clock is already ticking and I don’t know how to describe it. It’s just becoming a physical need now.”
The 32-year-old star recently revealed that as she gets older, she is becoming increasingly comfortable with herself and her needs.
“Everyday now I discover something new,” she told British newspaper the Observer. “I Go through phases in which I feel much more in touch with my feminine side, in ways I never thought possible. I’m letting the woman inside of me speak, the desires of this woman, speak as loud as they can.
“Not too long ago my mum ran into one nun at home, who’d known me, and the nun told her, ‘Oh my God, I watched the She Wolf video, and Shakira looks phenomenal in it! I love how she looks, how she does the splits, and how flexible her legs are.’
“This was an 80-year-old nun. Times are changing.”
