Eva Mendes Likes Being Bad!
EVA Mendes likes playing bad girls on the big screen.
The actress — who plays a drug-addled prostitute in her new movie Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans — says she prefers to take on the roles of non-traditional female characters.
“I’m just attracted to flawed women,” Eva said. “I can’t help it. I don’t know what it is. It’s more fun to me getting into a bad girl character than a more traditional female role. Where’s the fun in being nice and pretty all the time?”
Eva, 35, recently admitted that she’s more than happy to use her sex appeal to secure herself film roles.
“I don’t allow myself to be typecast, but when I have to turn up the heat and turn up the sexuality and I do an amazing Calvin Klein campaign it’s very conscious, that’s no accident. It’s very methodical on my part,” Mendes told Fox News.
“If I feel it’s appropriate to show some nudity in the scenes then I go for it. As much as I use my sexuality, I have never felt exploited. I feel like it’s on my terms and I have no problem with it.”
