Jake Gyllenhaal: ‘Paparazzi Attention is Part of my Job’
JAKE Gyllenhaal refuses to complain about being followed by the paparazzi — insisting it’s all part of his job as a famous actor,
The Brokeback Mountain star says he doesn’t mind being tabloid fodder.
“It’s a little part of the job,” Jake told US TV show Extra. “There are days that are easier than others in terms of the funny guy jumping out of the corner somewhere.
“It just goes along with it. I can’t say anything bad about them because I feel like I have already said it to them when they take the picture!”
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Jake’s set to wed his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.
The National Enquirer reported that the pair — who have been dating for the past two years — are planning an intimate secret wedding that’ll likely take place before the New Year.
Sources say the Legally Blonde star — who divorced Ryan Phillippe in 2007 — has finally overcome her fear of getting wed for a second time.
“She was devastated at the breakup from Ryan amid rumors he was dating actress Abbie Cornish,” dished one loose-lipped insider.
“Although they denied an affair, they’re together today.
“Reese wanted to be ultra-cautious about getting married again not just because of her fears but for her kids. She never wants them to go through another divorce.
“Reese told Jake about a month ago that’s she’s ready to get married and he’s over the moon.
“He feels like he’s been wanting to marry her forever and he can’t wait until it happens. He’ll be 29 on December 19 and told her that would be the present she could give him.
“They’ve only told a few close friends and relatives that plans are in the works for a small, secret wedding, hopefully before the New Year.”
