Will Ferrell: ‘My Wife is Low Maintenance’
WILL Ferrell says he doesn’t have to work hard to please his wife — because she’s a “very low maintenance” woman.
The actor — who is married to Swedish actress Viveca Paulin, whom he met in 1995 at an acting class — says his spouse doesn’t expect him to splash the cash on expensive jewelry.
“Pay attention, listen,” the Anchorman star 42, said of the secret to his marriage.
“Those are the basics, got to get those down. I’m lucky that — well, I don’t know if it’s lucky — but I’m with someone whose very low maintenance.
“If I were to buy her a bunch of jewelry, she wouldn’t know what to do with it. It sounds cliche, but we’re really good friends and have a good blending of giving each other space, but also enjoying each other’s company as well.”
Will recently revealed he wants to open a traditional British in London’s posh Chelsea.
“All the Chelsea players would be welcome, but I wouldn’t want a celebrity place, it would be an old-fashioned pub,” he said.
“I would be handson. I could get some great material off all the regulars. I am sure there would be a film in it.
“Over-priced fish and chips does not constitute a real British pub.”
