COURTENEY Cox is gearing up to get back to work after she was forced to halt production of her TV show Cougar Town due to “a private family matter.”

The ABC show, which stopped filming briefly last week, resumes production Nov. 30 following an already-planned weeklong break for Thanksgiving, the network says.

The nature of the family issue wasn’t disclosed. But Cox’s reps told People magazine that the former Friends star and her family are fine and that she’ll be returning to to the set following the Thanksgiving hiatus.

Cox’s costar Busy Phillips wrote in a Twitter message Monday that Cougar Town was “only down one day” and that “we’re back shooting after Thanksgiving. I’ll pass along the love to CC.”

Cox, 45, has a daughter, Coco Riley Arquette, with husband David Arquette — whom the actress married in 1999.
