Penelope Cruz ‘To Wed Soon’

PENELOPE Cruz and her beau Javier Bardem will be husband and wife “very soon” — insiders say.
Rumors that Cruz, 35, is set to wed Bardem surfaced when the actress wore a sapphire-and-diamond sparkler on her ring finger at the October premiere of her movie Broken Embraces.
It has now been claimed that Penelope is to meet with wedding dress designers, including the House of Balenciaga.
Cruz’s close friend, actress Salma Hayek, wore a Spanish Balenciaga for her nuptials to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
“They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays,” a source said. “Penelope’s parents are conservative Catholics and are really pushing for her to get married.
“Javier would like to take things slowly, but Penelope wants to make her parents happy.”
