Katie Holmes ‘Talked Through New Moon Screening’
KATIE Holmes didn’t make any new friends during a New York screening of Twilight Saga: Moon!
The actress — who’s married to Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise — and a group of her girlfriends stopped by a movie theater near her Manhattan apartment Saturday to catch the latest installment of the Twilight series — and apparently ruined the film for her fellow moviegoers by talking throughout the flick.
“Katie came into the movie theater with two of her girlfriends in a great mood,” a source told Fox News. “They bought tickets in advance to see New Moon like all the rest of the Twihards. They checked out the snacks and then they took their seats and kept talking.
“Katie talked through all of New Moon. It was unbelievable — they talked nonstop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.”
Holmes, 30, has previously revealed she’s a fan of vampire flicks.
“It can be any genre. I even like vampire movies — they just have to be well done. I want to believe in the characters,” she said. “The minute it starts to feel not real, I’m not interested.”

That kind of tells you right there how ‘real’ the acting in this move are. Don’t get me wrong, Kristen looks the part I imagined Bella to be and Taylor is a great actor. But there is not chemistry or talent.
I’m not a twilight fan but did go to the midnight premiere, but I saw the first one beforehand because the movie played twilight before new moon and it was my first time watching it. My opinion, it was definately not worth standing in line for six hours and almost sitting through the movie for five hours. Well when I went, people screamed almost throughout the whole movie or because they read the book they knew before what was going happen, they were making sounds and noises. Also a lot of people had their cell phones on and most of them were either texting or on facebook. And especially when Jacob took off shirt, all the girls screamed. It was annoying! So I don’t know what’s worse, someone talking throughout the movie or girls screaming throughout the movie.
