Natalie Portman: ‘Jake Gyllenhaal is Ugly’

Natalie PortmanNATALIE Portman says Jake Gyllenhaal would be the perfect catch — if he wasn’t “ugly”!

The actress — who stars opposite the Brokeback Mountain actor in new war drama Brothers — joked that Gyllenhaal, who’s currently dating actress Reese Witherspoon, doesn’t cut it in the looks department.

“He plays guitar and has a great voice,” Portman said. “Kids and dogs love him. He loves his mom and sister and girlfriend.”

“He’s perfect… too bad he’s ugly.”

Portman, 28, recently admitted she still feels uneasy about stripping off in front of the camera.

She told America’s V Magazine that she struggled with the decision to appear nude at the start of her career, and even asked filmmakers to rewrite a scene in her 1999 movie Anywhere But Here because she felt uneasy about baring all.

“I was figuring out my own sexual identity, likes and dislikes and all that stuff, and it’s weird to be doing stuff on film as you’re figuring it out,” she said. “Also being a sexual object when you’re a kid is really uncomfortable. After The Professional, I was already getting creepy letters.”

“It’s annoying because online bulls**t interferes with what I want to do artistically,” Portman added. “I’m not opposed to sexuality or nudity in a film, but I’m very opposed to pornography sites and you’re pretty much giving them material if you do any of that. It’s always a big dilemma for me.”

    Is this for real? How could she say that when she looks like a member of the Lollipop Guild. I’m not saying he’s the hottest many alive, but to say he’s ugly. She must have been saying that in a joking manner. A celeb that’s famous for saying things like that is John Mayer. You totally know he’s kidding if you see/hear him say it, but surely his sarcastic/humorous remarks don’t translate well when written.

    Yes, Natalie doesn’t want to help out porn sites on the internet, but she has absolutely no problem helping out a child rapist. TO those of you who don’t know, good old Nat signed a petition calling for Roman “child molestor” Polanski to be released. Yes, the same Polanski who drugged a 13 year old girl with part of a quinine pill, and raped her anally, orally, and vaginaly, all while she said “No! Stop! Stay Away!” Of course Portman also likens those of us who eat meat to rape. She said in a Huffington Post article, “If we don’t tolerate rape, why do we tolerate meat?” The reason is, dear Nat, is because God gave the animals of the earth to humans to consume for food, THAT’S why! Since you’re a Jew, like me, I guess that means you believe in the bible. If eating meat is wrong, I guess you and others like you think God made a bad call! Wow! I wouldn’t want to be you on Judgement Day, honey. But then, why should anyone expect any better from someone who is asking for a child molestor, who never served any time for his crime, to be free. Natalie, I think you’re sick, so is Harrison Ford, and all the rest of your ilkish friends who damned your names by signing that immoral petition! You don’t have any moral gravity, nothing keeps your head out of the clouds and grounded. From hereon, I shall boycott all your movies. I can’t give my hard-earned money to someone who supports a child molestor. I guess we all know what Roman Polanski will be doing this Thanksgiving, if he gets out. Not stuffing a turkey. Probably stuffing another 13 year old. Natalie will probably be sitting by, joyfully laughing. Sick bitch!

    Oh! BTW, Natalie says she might run for elected office when she’s “too ugly for Hollywood.” Based on her true, but mean comments about Jake G, and her name on that petition to free Roman Polanski, I think it’s safe to say that we can expect her name on a state ballot for some office in 2010, right?

    I think she is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. People are just overreacting to her comment, but it’s really no big deal.

    No big deal? If you’re talking about her comment about Jake G, I’d agree with you. I think he’s ugly, too, but he’s not MY friend, and I’d never say anything like that about a friend of mine, let alone in a magazine article. The Polanski thing, that’s different. It’s not a difference in values. It makes me wonder if she HAS any values. I thought she was better than that. I used to consider her a great actress. Now, I just consider her a supporter of a child molestor.

    Joey Jay, the victim doesn’t decide what the legalities of a crime are. That’s our judicial system. Got it? If you murder someone, it doesn’t matter how forgiving their family might be. The crime was still done, just like the child rape was done! Justice should be tossed upon the perpetrator. Got it, yet?! It might weigh in Roman “child molestor” Polanski’s favor that Samantha just wants the case to be dropped, especially after he paid her, but he should still be tried. Unless, of course, he’s going to run away again! What about that don’t you get? Is it because you like RP’s movies, and so he should be allowed to go free? Is it because it was done just so long ago? I believe that, regardless of a crime’s age, a wrong should be righted! So, knock off your loony crap that because the victim isn’t supporting the judicial aspects of what happened, RP should go free. A jury of RP’s peers will decide that. Not You, Samantha, those loony celebs, or anyone else! Stop sucking the helium of immorality and gain some moral gravity, pal!

    Its shocking to hear a comment like that come out of one the most beautiful ladies of hollywood. But I think Natalie was not being mean, she was just being honest. The truth hurts, and to say Jake Gyllenhaal is remotely handsome, I feel I would be telling the biggest lie.

      I think Jake Gyllenhaal is good looking, but that’s my opinion. Anyway I think Natalie Portman saying he is ugly was waaaaaayyy out of line. Let alone, during a magazine interview! You think it’s ok because you think he’s ugly, but still it was offensive. I hope she was joking.

    You people need to get a grip–getting way too wrapped up in the stars lives. She was joking, I saw the live clip when she was saying this. As for the Roman Polanski petition, if that is indeed true, I am disappointed in her and in any others that may have signed it. However, my opinion has always been and still is…the stars are merely entertainment. I don’t let their opinions influence me one way or the other.

    She has a right to her opinion, but I’m sure there are people out there who don’t think she is particularly attractive. Not everyone sees the same thing when they look at a person. When people make nasty unwarranted comments like that about someone else, any shred of beauty they may have completely disintegrates, in my opinion.

    I usually stay away from a lot of news due to a lot of it being construed unclearly or bias by underlying media agendas, but unless you’ve seen the clip, don’t go in half-cocked spewing obcenities. In regards to Chris Liberty agenda, how do you know you have the full picture? Isn’t that what the court is to present and place judgement on? Rarely are people privy to such details to what is happening, and if they are, that proximity may place that person squarely on one side, without seeing the other. I’m not making a call on this, he maybe guilty or may not… and Samantha is involved in this case and rightly puts her within her rights to propose a dismissal. Just hope those investigating find the true reason behind and proceed accordingly. You have to realize to, that RP is friends with those… friends of which do just that, support and believe their friend. I’d like to believe my close friends would be honest with me. Not to say in this day and age that sometimes face value is rare and noone should just take their word.

    To correct the statement by “Chris Liberty”, Roman Polanski did NOT use Quinine pill(s) to sedate the 13 year old girl, he used a Quaalude pill, which is very different.

    Quinine is an drug that can keep malaria at bay but not kill it. It doesn’t sedate people. Quinine is in Tonic Water and some carbonated waters and drinks, it can ease arthritis pains.

    A Quaalude is a very strong depressant drug which is similar to Barbiturates or Benzodiazepines but is supposedly more dangerous than Barbiturates. Benzodiazepines are the safest of the three in overdose, generally.

    He used the Quaalude pill to sedate the girl, kind of like when you go for a colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy. It would have effectively given her a concious sedation.

    Basically he used a “date-rape” pill to calm his victim down and make her less likely to be able to be afraid and she would’ve just let the sexual assault happen since she would be in a daze and out of it.

    He (Roman Polanski) is a pervert and rapist. Natalie Portman is a dumb jew just like Polanski, and I’m a Jew also, but these jews give us a bad name. They are sickening, and Natalie Portman is plain ugly!
