Robert Pattinson Thought Edward Cullen Was Ridiculous!
ROBERT Pattinson thought his Twilight character Edward Cullen was “completely ridiculous” when he first read the books.
The hunky British actor admits he found it hard to take Cullen seriously.
“I read the first book and found it quite good,” Pattinson told Germany’s In Touch magazine. “But the description of my character is, from the first page on, completely ridiculous. It says, ‘He enters a room, and his beauty is almost painful’.”
Rob, 23, recently revealed that he’s jealous of the muscles on his 17-year-old costar Taylor Lautner.
“It was incredibly annoying when I saw Taylor’s transformation,” he said. “I realized just having a pre-pubescent girl’s body wasn’t going to work for me any more.
“In fact I saw him and thought ‘Jesus, I’m going to get fired’.”

LOVE HIM
Robert is rather frail compared to Taylor; at least Taylor was willing to improve himself for his role. Robert could’ve joined in at any time and I’m sure he was well aware that Taylor was working out.He seems non-physical and not coordinated and should try to improve his appearance somehow, but I believe he’s too lazy to do it, a girly-man? He just plays cute roles. Lets hear some of your music, Rob, share the wealth.
pattinson plays a vampire. .his body is supposedly frozen as is it is. .he couldn’t possibly build up his body. .it wouldn’t be logical and it’s petty to compare him to lautner. .it was necessary for lautner as jacob does become more muscled after his change. .
Actually taylor lautner (Jacob) was told to bulk up and get A LOT more muscular, or he would be fired from the role and replaced, so yeah, he didnt exactly have a choice.
Hey! Don’t rip on him, he’s totally hot! Talor laughtnr might be supper buff but don’t rip on rob! He could become just as ripped as talor!!! 8P

i think the director of this movie did a perfect job if you followed along at all with twlight Edward was sick when he became a vampire so the fact the he looks frail is the way someone sick would look and this also is the reason women love him. although a vampire, he still looks as if he need to be taken care of and women are by nature caretakes and i feel this is what makes women of all ages have a blood lust for edward cullen..cause im 30 years old and i have to admitt i would have bitten him first…xllent movies and can not wait till eclispe and keep the books and the movies coming best series in ages…would also make an xllent tv series..if you could keep bella and edward..thanks..
If he would have exercised alot and got buff then he wouldnt seem like Edward cullen anymore. But it would help him out on people beleiving he has Super Strength….!!!! But he is AWESOME LOVE HIM AND BOOKS AND MOVIES!!!!!!!!!

people, stop calling him edward. in an interview he said that people likes his CHARACTER more THAN him. and his fans always shouts “edward cullen” but never (maybe seldomly) his real name.
