Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Have Discussed Having Kids
MARIAH Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are thinking about starting a family.
The singer — whose new album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, hit stores earlier this month — told UK TV show This Morning that she and Cannon have discussed having kids — and now they’re just waiting for the right time.
“We’ve definitely discussed it,” she said. “The only thing is that at this particular moment, it’s almost Christmas. He’s doing his work and I’m promoting and doing all this stuff. Right now is not the moment.
“My parents were divorced and it’s not like, ‘Oh, woe is me!’ A lot of people’s parents are divorced but I would just like to have a nice, normal life for that moment.”
In an October interview with a US radio station, Mariah revealed that she and Nick already have their baby names picked out.
“We have to keep the name secret because if we told everybody, then somebody might use it and then we have to change it, and then it wouldn’t be as good,” she said.
