Robbie Williams ‘Proposes to Girlfriend’
ROBBIE Williams is set to be a married man — after he proposed to his girlfriend Ayda Field live on Australian radio.
The Bodies hitmaker was on the Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show on Sydney’s 2DayFM to promote his new album Reality Killed the Video Star when he decided it was time to pop the question.
Ayda was in the studio with him when Jackie asked Robbie if there was any news he wanted to share.
“Is there anyone you want to get married to? Ayda Field I love you so much… Will you marry me?” Williams said.
“Yes, I’ll marry you,” Field replied. “Where’s the ring?”
Robbie slipped a temporary ring on her finger, that was given to him by presenter Jackie O, saying, “I love you so much. Would you be my betrothed ’til the end of time?”
The pair met after the star’s pals set them up on a blind date nearly three years ago.
A spokesperson for Robbie is yet to confirm whether the engagement is genuine.
During the interview, Robbie also revealed he misses being in Take That.
“I’ve always wanted to be in a band ever since I left Take That and looking at the love they’ve all got for each other, I fancy a bit of that myself,” he said.
