TIGER Woods‘ wife came to the rescue when the superstar crashed his car, according to reports.

Elin Nordegren apparently used a golf club to smash the back window of her husband’s Cadillac Escalade, then helped him out, says the AP.

Woods was driving a 2009 Cadillac SUV when he hit a fire hydrant and then slammed into a tree on Deacon Circle in Orlando at 2:25 AM Friday.

The Florida Highway Patrol told the Orlando Sentinel the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy.

Woods — who was by himself at the time — was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee.

WESH reported that the golfer had been treated for facial lacerations.

Tiger’s rep confirmed he was in a minor accident, treated for injuries, and released from the hospital.

Police tried to talk to Woods  Friday evening, but Nordegren said he was sleeping and they agreed to come back Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

It was recently claimed that Woods — who has two children with Nordegren — has been having an affair since June with an events planner named Rachel Uchitel.

Uchitel is the same woman actor David Boreanaz allegedly had an affair with when his wife was pregnant earlier this year.

“Rachel told friends that her liaison with Tiger began in June in New York and has played out in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Australia,” a source said.

“I’m sure Tiger thinks Rachel is staying quiet about their affair, but she’s told lots of people.

“Rachel told me, ‘I’m having an affair with Tiger Woods. We’re in love!’ She even read me text messages Tiger sent her that said ‘I love you, babe. It’s always going to be just you and me.

“I’m shocked that Rachel would be so casual about an affair that could break up Tiger’s family. It’s crazy.”
