Kris Allen Mistaken For Adam Lambert!

Kris Allen — who won season eight of American Idol — was left red-faced during an Entertainment Weekly interview series at Hudson Terrace in New York last week — after he was mistaken for runner-up Adam Lambert!
According to the New York Daily News‘ Gatecrasher gossip column, an audience member jumped up and yelled, “Adam, you were robbed!”
Allen paused before continuing the interview, and the fan was informed Adam would be making an appearance next month.
Allen, 24, recently admitted he feels like an underdog.
“Some people still don’t know how I won the show,” Allen, whose self-titled debut album is released today, told the USA Today newspaper earlier this month.
“Not in an I-need-to-prove-myself way. I’m very understated. It worked out on the show, and I think it’s going to work out in my career, too.”

Kris Allen is forgettable that is why people don’t know who he is. Adam Lambert is the superior talent and superior singer. regardless of the terrible AMA performanc eby Adam…He still rocks and will become a huge star. Kris si sweet and cute and does have musical talent but his voice is nothing different or special.
Kris is a sweet guy, but unfortunately the music industry is glutted with artists like Kris right now so it is going to be tough. He sounds like the Fray and his style is like Jason Mraz and John Meyer and well it just isn’t the best timing. Adam is new, charismatic, on fire and just gorgeous, hot, and sexy – besides that he can sing like few ever have!!! I wish them both well, but don’t think there is any comparison.
I wouldnt accept the negative comments left purposely by Gamberts. Kris Allens CD is in the top 40, and I didnt see Adams at all. Kris Allen is getting air play more than Adam so why all the fuss about Adam? I for one am sick of Adam and his tom foolery.
Cary, we are Glamberts, not “Gamberts”. I have lost track of Adam’s CD rankings, but I know it ranked number one for some time on ITunes and also on Amazon. The lack of radio play of Adam’s songs is controversial, as we Glamberts have been requesting it; most top radio stations are streaming Adam’s entire CD. I guess it must be hard to fit Adam’s songs in between GaGa, Taylor & Britney, since their music is played every hour and multiple times. It hasn’t effected Adam’s sales. Adam’s CD is selling 250K copies the first week out and I understand Kris’ is selling 80K the first week out. Glamberts love the “tom foolery” and accept Adam as he is. He is controversial and Kris is safe. Apples and Oranges. If you want to see negative comments left by alleged Kris fans, go visit any of Adam’s videos on YouTube, they are full of them, but Glamberts thumb them down so they will go poof and that also goes for Trolls who join Adam’s official website so they can diss on him. There is no comparison between the two of them and anyone with a bone in their bone realizes Adam was robbed. Just ask AT&T.
adam is more popular than kris right now because of his admission that he is gay .adam likes to perform but insert something that will make him controversial like in AMA, adds more publicity.Good or bad still publicity.Adam is a good singer but i like kris’ style more bec.he just sings his heart out and doesn’t make much controversy just to sell an album.But i do agree that adam was robbed with his title.But its not kris fault.Blame the show!Anyway, adam should refrain from doing such ‘controversial things’ just to make publicity coz he/she is one of the most talented non-winners on idol….but i guess i’m wrong.. you have to be controversial to arouse the public’s curiosity just like me.talent+controversy=high album sales.I think this is adam’s formula to success……how sad for other talented people who just want to show their talent to the world.Though I’m happy in a way that they don’t want to be corrupted by the industry.
Adam is the ONLY REAL idol. He is the one with the talent and the Cd sales speak for themselves. Enough with the dumb arguments. Adam can sing and is SOO hot, and kris is not. Can we put it to bed and enjoy Adam’s AMAZING music? Let’s celebrate his success. We, the fans, Will always be behind Adam. We just love him. What can e say…?
This article is absolutely lame! I know who Kris is as do all those who actually watch Idol, and I prefer his music to any of the pop artists right now. His personality matches his good looks and smooth voice.
Lambert is pretty, but I dont like his music, he sounds like a girl most of the time, and all that tongue is disgusting. His Time for Miracles was the only good song on his CD.
In the above article Kris stated, “Some people still don’t know how I won the show.” This statement blows my mind because Kris has so much talent. I love how on American Idol Kris randonmly came out and played the piano when everyone just thought he could play the guitar. let’s not forget about his vocal ability. His vocals are flawless, he is never pitchy and he tells a story and with every song he sings, they are not just lyrics. He is classy and deserved to win American Idol. Did anyone notice that this was the first season Ryan Seacrest did not mention how many votes Kris won by? That would be because Kris blew Adam Lambet out of the water. Everyone needs to go out and get Kris’s debut album, I can listen to it over and over again! It is inspiring, sexy, and pure genius for a first time album. I can’t wait for Kris’s next album! Please Hurry!
Uh…… where do you think all the Danny votes went to after Danny was ousted, to Kris, because he is more he same type of music and because Danny fans made it clear they did not like Adam, so Kris will not be getting their sales they don’t care, as long as Adam didn’t win, they wont be buying Kris stuff, and how any of you can try and see thru rose coloured glasses, Adam had way more fans than, at least we are buying Adams CD, where the heck are all the million K fans then??? Kris had lowest sales of any Idol ever, Adam out sold him 3 times over, and will go on to super stardom , I don’t see Kris on TV, don’t see him anywhere , oh ya, the Disney parade, sorry, he is too much like others of his genre and nothing outstanding.

glamberts get over it i can´t believe you have to put kris down just to tell us how great adam is, i like kris and believe me you´re not gonna make me like adam more than kris.. so what´s the point?
I am a Danny fan. I always wonder why people don’t consider that the fan based of danny did vote for Adam. Personally, i didn’t vote but i heard a lot of danny fans voted for Kris to win. The hypothesis on Kris winning is really because most of Danny and Matt’s vote went to him. Is this true? I think it is a very good bet considering that If Kris indeed had a huge number of people voting for him because they like him then that should have translated to sale which we know it didn’t. Despite the itune pass sold during the concert which was part of the AI winner’s package. Is there a point on all these? Of course, as a Danny fan, i just want to give credit where credit is due. Danny fans deserves credit for it.
As for Kris being on the chart…well didn’t his LLWD came out first by several weeks? Earlier exposures mean more spins therefore higher on the chart.
