Katie Holmes: ‘Suri Likes to Wear Heels’

Katie Holmes and Suri CruiseKATIE Holmes says there’s nothing wrong with her three-year-old daughter Suri wearing high heels — insisting every little girl likes to look glamorous.

The former Dawson’s Creek actress and her superstar husband Tom Cruise have come under fire for letting the adorable tot leave the house in stilettos.

But Holmes is adamant Suri makes her own choices when it comes to her footwear.

“Like every little girl, she loves my high heels,” Holmes, 30, told US TV show Access Hollywood.

“They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,” Katie said. “I found them for her and she loves them.”

It was recently claimed that Holmes spends $25,000 a month on clothes for Suri.

“Dressing Suri in amazing outfits has become Katie’s favorite hobby,” a source told Britain’s Grazia magazine. “She’ll scour the internet and Beverly Hills shops to find items and get inspiration for different looks.

“One of Katie’s favorite looks is ’80s-inspired — she puts Suri in leggings and long sweatshirts or bright dresses. Suri loves getting involved and choosing things too.

“Suri can’t always walk in her heels, sometimes she just steps right out of them.”

    I think that the Cruises should be ashamed to even admit such an iresponsible comment such as they spend $25,00.00 a month on clothes for Suri! I don’t think I have spent a total of $25,00.00 on clothes over the past 25 years! Katie says every little girl likes to play dress up with their mothers clothes. Yes they do but not in public! I know of no child who is allowed out of her house dressed in heels, makeup, and frilly fancy party dresses that cost more than most peoples mortgage payments!!
    I don’t think that Tom & Katie Cruise even know what is going on in the world or even care!! As long as it does’nt affect them!!
