NATALIE Portman didn’t touch pot until she was in her late 20s.

The actress — who stars opposite Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming film Brothers – says she shied away from socializing with her peers while at school.

“OK, so I didn’t really go to high-school parties,” Portman, 28, told Marie Claire. “I didn’t touch pot ’til I was in my 20s.

“I didn’t get flat-out drunk until I went to college.

“But I think that’s a good thing in many ways.”

Natalie — who finished her psychology degree at America’s exclusive Harvard University while she was filming the Star Wars movie series — has previously said that she’d “rather be smart than a movie star.”
