SOURCES close to Tiger Woods‘ wife Elin Nordegren are furious the golfer cheated on his spouse — because she’s such a loving mother.

Insiders have told FOX News that Nordegren — a former Swedish model — spends all of her time looking after her and Tiger’s two young children — daughter Sam, 2, and 10-month-old son Charlie.

“Elin spends so much time with the children,” said one pal. “She loves them and is always home with them. Whatever caused the accident, she should not have to go through all this.”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Tiger has paid Elin “a hefty seven-figure amount” to remain his wife.

Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times says Nordegren demanded “a total rewrite on the couple’s prenuptial agreement” that makes the “incentives” for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods more appealing.

The couple have been married five years, and according to their current agreement, they need to remain married for 10 years in order for Nordegren to collect a divorce settlement of $20 million.

The Sun-Times also claims Woods and Nordegren “have already begun intense marriage counseling — at their home — with a counselor who has been conducting sessions several times daily.”
