LILY Allen has been secretly battling a throat and chest illness while on tour.

The Smile singer says her punishing schedule has stopped her from recovering from her bout of laryngitis and bronchitis.

“I’ve had laryngitis and bronchitis for about two months and I’ve just been doing so many gigs and just not resting,” Allen revealed. “I have been to an ear, nose, and throat specialist a few times and they stuck a big camera down my throat. It’s not very nice.”

Lily, 24, recently insisted she has a “stable” relationship with her builder beau Sam Cooper.

“You know, I’m in a steady relationship,” she said. “I’m going steady, man. Mwah, I love you Sam.”
