Jennifer Lopez: ‘Husband Gets Stage Fright on my Behalf’

JENNIFER Lopez says her husband Marc Anthony turns into a “nervous wreck” when his superstar wife is about to perform.
The pop superstar has revealed that Marc — himself a singer — gets the jitters on Jenny’s behalf, even though he’s perfectly confident whenever he’s due on stage.
“When Marc performs he has no nerves at all,” said the Do It Well hitmaker. “He takes it easy, has a beer and a cigarette before goes on, does it, boom, and he’s done. But when I perform this man is a nervous wreck.
“I tell him I’m fine and everything is going to be fine — but he is just a bag of nerves. He can’t sleep, eat or anything. It’s really sweet.”
Lopez recently revealed that she’s still nursing her wounds after taking a tumble during her recent performance at the American Music Awards.
“I have a bruised bone,” Lopez said on Thursday’s Ellen Degeneres Show.
“What happened was one of the dancers’ backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything. We never bargained for that because they always had T-shirts on in rehearsal.
“So they were barebacked, didn’t have shirts on for the performance and when I stepped on their backs, my feet got wet. So when I landed, it just slipped from under me.”
