John Travolta Turned Down Space Trip

John TravoltaJOHN Travolta could’ve gone into space if he wasn’t so busy!

The Grease star has revealed how Richard Branson offered him the chance to take a seat on his Virgin Galactic space ship but he was forced to decline because it would have cost him too much in lost earnings.

“I think I would like it,” Travolta said. “I’ve been approached several times to go up into the space shuttle and do these other smaller programs.

“But it takes about six months of training to actually do this kind of thing, so I told them, if they could subsidize me, I would do it.”

Travolta recently revealed that he struggled to watch his wife, Kelly Preston, have onscreen sex with Tom Cruise.

“I have been jealous of many of her costars,” he said. “I didn’t like her making love to Tom Cruise.

“I didn’t like her making love to Kevin Costner in Love Of The Game. It was hard to watch.”

    Oh God…Travolta says he’ll do it if they subsidize him? Like he’s turning down the coolest possible thing and is too good to be an astronaut. I thought John was humble but here his arrogance slipped through.

    John Travolta will not condescend to do anything unless he is paid. Money money money.

    Wait…d”making love to Tom Cruise” ….uh, isn’t it just an acting gig? Or is Tom Cruise paying John for some publicity? Sorry guys but none of them make Kelly Preston seem desirable after her Battlefield Earth tongue stunt! (no matter how “jealous” John says he gets)
