Alexa Ray Joel Hospitalized

ALEXA Ray Joel — the daughter of rocker Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley — has been hospitalized.
The 23-year-old was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York after a caller placed a call to 911 Saturday afternoon
“She is stable and her doctors are assessing her needs,” said Alexa’s rep.
The New York Post claims Joel overdosed on sleeping pills, and that police are treating the incident as a suicide attempt.
“She’s going to be fine,” the rep added.
The spokesperson, however, would not confirm or deny whether it was an attempted suicide.
Alexa is scheduled to perform twice on December 10 in New York City.
